At the memorial a RAF pilot, a poet and an artist will talk about Battle of Britain pilot William Walker’s moving poem Our Wall, a lasting tribute to courage, loss, and remembrance to who gave their lives in the conflict.

14.00 – 15.00 (Boat Trip) Bluebirds over Dover
We say goodbye to the RAF and hopefully we will see some Bluebirds during our boat tour along the white cliffs from Folkestone to Dover.

In Dover’s Women’s Land Army Museum we learn through poetry about the life and war effort from the Land Girls.

In the oldest pub of Dover countless soldiers had a drink we remember them with selected peace poetry.

Crossing the Channel by ferry, we talk, read, and retrace the path of millions since Roman legions and before.
